Real-time Gross Settlement (RTGS) service is available at SBI branch from 7:00 AM to 6 PM every day except on Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays. As proposed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will not impose any charges on the transfer of funds online via NEFT system. Nonetheless, account holders can transfer funds using the NEFT system via SBI net-banking/Yono App online. The settlement of the first batch will commence after 00:30 hours and the last batch will end at 00:00 hours.
SBI NEFT TimingsĪccording to RBI, there are 48 half-hourly settlement batches every day. Also, customers visiting the bank are requested to follow the guidelines related to social distancing and sanitisation, issued by the bank amidst the pandemic. However, it is suggested that customers should use SBI Net Banking and SBI Mobile Banking services for all the financial as well as non-financial transactions, and avoid visiting the branch unless absolutely necessary. Now, post COVID-19 lockdown, all the banking services including account opening, passbook printing, cash deposit and withdrawal, cheque clearing, remittances and government transactions, and note exchange services are now available at the bank as usual. SBI Bank had temporarily closed several banking services after the guidelines issued by the Indian Banks Association (IBA). Extra precautions in terms of contact-less service, social distancing and cleanliness are taken by the bank while attending customers.
